    Here is how my Taco looked Saturday morning, pretty normal.

    By that evening the S/C install was complete, Sunday I installed the URD 7th Injector and now it looks like this.

    Fucking gas prices are stupid, will probably always be. I'll never see the days of .90 like I did in high school so I figure fuck it. I used to haggle over the difference between regular and premium gas, when it comes down to it, it's only a couple dollars difference per tank, not really that big of a deal. I was running premium in this thing anyway, so no difference with the S/C being on.

    I got a great deal on the S/C itself, $1,886, brand new! So why not get the 7th Injector on top of it. The install was pretty easy too so I saved some money on that, plus it was fun to do. All in all I'm pretty happy.

    Only draw back is yesterday, Monday, I tore my ACl and have to get it surgically corrected....my truck is a 5 speed. My wife told me thanks for installing the new S/C for her since I'll be driving her Outback while my knee heals.

    That's looks great!!!! I remember when mine was nice and shiney.

    One small suggestion if I may.
    The fuel line running to the 7th looks way out of place. Try tucking it below the actuator. Instead of the T of the fuel line going verticle, have the T going horizontal and slightly down.

    I'm trying to find a good picture of what I'm saying and this is the best I got:

    Thanks jberry I'll get it moved. Also would you mind sending a picture of the vacuum lines running from the S/C and what they are too? I've got one spot I've got plugged on the S/C, the one next to the brake boost. Also I've got a K&N intake and have an extra port on it. The truck is running right, or seems to be, but I don't like not having a place for things...

    Ha! I feel your pain my friend. The instructions blow for the +02 Tacomas.

    In the end, my truck is more-or-less set up like the below diagram except for the vacuum throttle opener.

    Since we have DBW throttle bodies, just cap the barb that would run to the vacuum throttle opener. I actually missed this in my original install and it eventually lead to a check engine light and multiple consecutive swear words.

    Here's the one i missed:

    The factory air box/tube have two ports. One goes into the silencer and one to the air box itself. The one that goes to the silencer gets capped. the one on the airbox runs to EVAP. Since you have the K&N, cap one port and the other runs to the EVAP. Judging by your picture, that part is setup correctly.

    And here's some pix too. The first 2 are from day 1 of install. The rest I just took. Kinda sunny out right now so they didn't come out the best so hopefully you get what you need from them.

    Lastly, I just wanted to make sure you installed IAC check valve. The instructions say to install it except if you have a 01+ 4runner. I read somewhere even for the 4runners you should install it. If you didn't, pull the throttle body off, cut the hose and install it. Its figure 25 in the instructions.

    Dude, jberry, you're the fucking man. Thanks for taking the time to post that up! I did the same thing with the barb and was able to plug it. I think the only thing I have left to correct is the double barbs, the one the brake boost hooks too, I have the other one pluged and don't have the tube you have connected to the S/C connected to anything, so I'll switch that.
