So just wondering who here rock climbs. I joined a rock climbing gym in august and fell in love with the sport. Only sad thing is I have yet climb out doors. Just wondering if anyone here from southern california that hit up the outdoors and want to take a trip :)

Boulder, Climb. Haven't done ice or Trad. I think I want to live so I might give those a miss.

Well damn, bloody thing works for me, not sure how to fix it. :(

Lead climbing outdoors is probably the most exciting and harrowing thing you can do. Specially when you're on an undercling 10 feet past the last clip and trying to clip in with one hand to the next bolt while reaching OVER the under cling. Specially when you slip and fall. 10 feet of rope equals a 20 foot fall. Not always fun.

Make sure you void your bowls before attempting. :)

I have shoes and a harness, no other equipment. I have only done a couple of top rope climbs, so I am extremely novice. I live in Redlands and would be interested in going on climb.

I'm a little late, but there are tons of places to climb in CO. I am from the Springs and loved climbing at the Garden of the Gods. Shelf road is another epic climbing spot. Eleven mile canyon, phantom canyon, the Flatirons in Boulder. There are so many places, I can't even remember them all. Those were my favorites though.
