I had a mind fart. I have a product called road wrap that I tried and did not like. We could use it to mask the truck. The stuff is about 18 inches wide. I will dig it out today. Sort of like a saran wrap to protect the car's finish when traveling.

Got a pic of your arbor? I just trashed one this week. It was made out of wood and beyond repair.

 

Maybe arbor isn't the correct word... This one is being made out of chain link fence top rail... it's supposed to be like those patio covers that you just put up.. I wanted one that won't fall down in a wind storm I have shade cloth to provide the shade... I"m going to paint it black so it looks better...

No worries, the sites have fire lines all around them, 300 feet of clear cut perimeters to keep fires outta sites. then they just send non-essential personell home. I'm more worried about the highway being blocked by fire and closing us in then I'm worried about this place burning down. Site fire fighters are all out helping the provincial guys. So only major issue is if we have an internal fire, no one on site for fast response.. But, thats why we have us operators

Dry spring ?? We haven't had alotta rain recently, and some pretty hot days. Province wide fire ban, one of the communities just 250ish km south of us was like 60% destroyed or something. Google "slave lake fire" if your curious

Deal, all of fort mac is actually under smoke, maybe 1km visibilities?? they've been debating closing the airport.. In all seriousness Its gotten worse fast over the past 3-4 days but the fires reached a river valley north of here so we've got a pretty good natural blockade from it getting too much worse. Smoke's giving everyone wicked headaches though.

I'll grab you guys some air readings later on, we have a bunch of handheld gas detectors, I'm curious what they will pick up.
