I've heard mixed comments about striking the bumps on the uni-ball. I would think it would be safer to fab a strike pad just inside of the uniballs in the tip of the UCA to strike :notsure: other than that, that truck is bad ass. I wish I could bump my UCA instead of my LCA but that will come when I get caged up front.

well the fenders are still gonna get redone all sheet metal and then the striking plate on the top of the spindle is getting a bigger plate added to it to hit that top bump stop

what kind of lift spindle? does it give you any benefit other than lifting more? as far as travel?

    solo motorsports lift spindle

if you run the lower uni-ball conversion (replaces lower ball joint) you can get an extra inch of down travel on a LT suspension. the spindles allow you to have the lift and take out all the preload from the coilover for a much smoother ride. they are also way way stronger than the stock spindles

    x2 on this.

Folks who strike the UCAs have horizontal uniballs to handle the load. The c-clips that hold the uniball assemblies in place aren't designed to support a load and you're likely to snap one and have your front end come apart with a hard hit.
