    Nice, My step dads done carpentry by hobby for longer then i've been alive. A good chunk of everything construction I know came from him.

    just thought it was odd to have two panels both less than half full, unless there was an EPS system (not trying to pick it apart or anything). is that in the "cabin" for douchemonkey?

    Ya , Douchemonkey's cabin .

    I'm not the electrician so I might get some of the terminology messed up , but this is a 400 amp sub feed to the house from the main electrical building about 600' away .

    We had to go parallel copper conductors due to line loss potential , there is two horizontal splitter boxes under the 2 / 200 amp panels , this didn't allow the room for one large vertical 400 amp panel .

    The panels are half full beacause only some of the circuits are tied in at this point , we're still building it .

    Ask away , doesn't bother me none .
