It just looks a tad dark on my screen. Thats all. I didn't say they look bad.

Hell no, too good to be true. Must have back focus issues or something.

What kind of screen do you have? One thing that you guys need to know is make sure you have calibrated screens. I use a Dell 2405 that's been properly calibrated. So sometimes what you see on your monitor might not come across right on other peoples screens. I've had people tell me my shots are dark as well but look nice and bright on my screen. So I know what you mean...

I Think that is an awesome shot dude! I would have taken it from the front side so you could see the pool instead of the back though. But regardless of what I just said it's a cool shot!

I just have my iMac LED screen. I have had it calibrated. All the other shots look fine. Maybe its time to re-calibrate it. I haven't done it in a while

EDIT: Then-again i keep my screen at half brightness, thats how i edit, and look at photos and everything.

    calibration is over rated....

    :typing:

remember i said there is a method my madness?

well, i did bump up the black channels on that last pic...

if you look at her first pic, she has very vibrant blue eyes... i bumped the black channels to draw attention to her body without being obvious about it...

oh, and the makeup artist didn't show up, so we were shooting without makeup, so had to compensate for that too... she is a bit fair complexioned...

but bottom line, so long as the client likes the pics and her check don't bounce, im good with it...

    dolla make me holla

As long as what you print looks like what you edit, it's all good.

You probably wouldn't in that instance (get the exposure correct). But the flash allows you to expose for the background and then use the flash to fill.

    I'll join...

I took a quick shot of the lifeguard truck yesterday. Unfortunately, my camera was in manual and I forgot to adjust so the background got blown out. This is the edit I like after trying to recover details in raw.

    And this seems OK,

Took some pictures of my buddies LS1 Z28. Tried a different editing method. How'd I do on the edit and the actual pictures?

Might be more the weather than anything (like heavy mist).
