Hannemann fenders on stock 4x4?

hey new here, im from Australia and have just bought a set of Hannemann 4" glass fenders and bedsides. Im wanting to know if anyone else has installed these on a stock 4x4 pickup? i dont have a long travel front end so it doesnt have the extra width and im curious if it may look a little silly? i basically got them to run 33" tires with no lift, but now ive got them the look really wide.... has anyone got some pics or opinions for input? will be greatly appreciated

 

awesome looking truck you got there! my fenders are slightly different, i got the 'flat top' ones. Looking at them i reckon they will over hang about 2" past the tire, do you think that will look ok? what width are your rims 8 or 9's? also are you familiar with our version of the Tacoma they are badged as a Hilux, its an 01 model but they still run the torsion bar front end im curious if they is anyone doing a kit to convert them to a coil-over suspension?

my wheels have 4.5" backspacing, thats why they tuck in so far in the wheel well. if you run a wheel with less back space then the wheel and tire will stick out more

 

On stock height with stock size tires, I dont think it will look good. While the two people who posted pics have stock width front track, they're at least lifted, so it gives you a different look.

what about wheel spacers? are they an ok idea the widen the wheelbase or do they cause problems?

i have flares on my 4x4 and all i have done is 2.5'' in front with fabtech coilovers

 

they are fine, a lot of different opinions but if you install them correctly and maintain them they will be fine.

 

I would imagine that spidertrax would work with the hilux. I run a set myself and have no issues whatsoever.

Make sure you get a wheel adapter and not just a wheel spacer. An adapter spaces the wheel out by attaching itself to the hub and then the rim via a second set of studs and lug nuts. A spacer simply slides over the existing studs and can cause some issues if your studs aren't long enough.
