    Thanks,
No you have to use the pins in the mating connector in the back of the switch, then you have to tap power from the AC controls. Toyota did not add power to the connector, if you look closely at the procedure you will see the wire that needs to be completed before the leds will light up and be controlled with the rest of the dash lights.

ok , I will say that I am sorry to be bothering you again with another question , but ...... I don't really know if the AC control panel just pops out like the 4X4 switch or what , I just need to know the best way to get to the back of the AC panel so that I can wire up my light correctly . I will say that I have searched for this because I know that I read it somewhere , and I just can't seem to find it . Just this last bit of information will set me on my way to being able to hook up my 4X4 light correctly . Thanks a bunch . If I can get this info by sunday around noon , I will be hooking it up then , thats my planned day !

No worries, yes it just pops out like the 4x4 switch, don't be shy, you won't break anything. Just stick a butter knife on the bottom edge and slowly pry it open, you will see once it pops right out!!

Well I just got my light hooked up , only took about 45 mins for me since I'm not used to messing with such small wires ! I think it is working but I just can get in a dark enough spot to tell ! But I will let you know just in about 3 hours from now .

Well if it does not light up, then swap the polarity.

No need to do that , it works perfectly , just tried it out since it finally got dark enough for me to see it here . Great job on the colors , they are matched perfectly . Thank you on that great write up for the instructions , you did nail it on the head . I am sure that I couldn't have purchased a better product for the truck with any better I would say customer service . Your the best when it comes to that . Keep up the great work man , thanks again for all your help there Shannon .
