^ exactly. stuff always takes longer than it was originaly thought to... but if it's quality (which Giant and King both are) then it's worth it.

DMZ bumper are awesome. your truck is going to look great. gonna go with TT style bedsides?

Nope, the non TT from glassworks. They are taunting me just sitting in my garage. I want to put them on, but I don't see the point until I put my rear on.

yea cuz its plug and play, unlike Giant, who are rebuilding King shocks for internal bumps according to their specs.

link killers are the shit. as you know they add a larger compression tube, therefore further customizing the shock... takes time to make good stuff.

it'll all be worth it in the end. gonna be awesome :D

Spoke to Geoff on wednesday and he said last he heard the shocks were getting plated.

I put these on yesterday, should reinforce the shock tower some after the cut had to be made. I still have the TC gussets I need to weld on for the shock tower.

Did a bunch today! Welded the driver side shock tower gussets one and plastidipped my badges. The front end is pretty much done now besides the bumper.

Looks really good, I will be joing the LT club in one form or another soon. Trying to figure out which kit to go with right now. That Giant rear setup should be really nice. Do you think the front will keep up with it?

They are the TC ones. A bit pricey and they are starting to rust a little. Only been on a little over a month. I should throw some paint on em.

This post is really helpful in deciding what to get: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/long-travel-suspension/56245-long-travel-information.html

I used that when I first started. I'm sure the 2 separate kits will work fine together. TC is a pretty widely used and tested kit and GIANT is a pretty big player as well.

went to GIANT yesterday and picked up my link killer rear setup and then to engage and got my bed cage..can't wait to install this weekend! I sprayed all the brackets and shackles with truck bed liner last night and this morning. I'll get some pics up after this weekend probably.

Shocks won't be ready till next weekend but my roommate has a pair of double bypasses I can borrow in the mean time

I dont think its to reinforce the shock towers them self thats what he has the tower gussets for. The plates are mainly to stop the top of the plate from twisting or bending since he had to cut it for the coilovers:D

    It is def. a mutt
    • Total chaos front
    • fox CO front
    • giant rear link killer
    • link killer shocks (king)
    • engage bed saver cage
    • = lots of money that I will one day regret ;)

    2.5x16..or 3..cant remember

exactly. I think it will stop it from twisting...the gussets will do a pretty dang good job enforcing the tower as well

finally got my giant kit for the rear, but that has to wait a couple weekend since I am going to vegas next weekend. This weekend, got the bed sides off and the bed cage welded in. Driving up to giant one more time this week to pick up the shocks
