My boss says shit like, nice 4wd camry, and rice burner etc but he drives a impala on 20" rims. And when he gets to me I just say "why did you put those impala badges on your caprice" and man he gets MAD!!!! easy to piss him off!

Haha I had an 07 Impala. He doesn't have much room to talk shit on anyone. Atleast mine was an SS so it had some balls to help cover up all the shortcomings of that car.

I don't have to say anything. Around here it is all the older and wiser guys (and gals) who are driving all the Toyotas. They've already been there and and done that with some of the other makes. Nothing left to prove at this point.

resale value doesnt lie. you are right. i just get tired of my chief warrant officers telling me a F150 is better than a Tacoma.

I tell them, I'm a capitalist and a free market guy! I believe in buying the best product for my hard earned money and in reality American companies just don't stack up. END OF STORY.

Yep, i 2nd this, i did read somewhere that the top of cylinders are hemispherical. In a sense we have 4.0L V6 Hemi's under our hoods :D.

And yeah, i go for how the Tundra is 80% amercian, while the chevy and dodge pulls in at 75% and everything else is down hill from there. Resale values don't lie too. Plus a lot of teens around here, they've learned from not so smart teens who bought old domestics, and they got old Toyota's and Honda's because they can't afford having to fix their crap every week.

Ask them if they're going to pay your repair bills if you buy the truck they like?

    how about the truth?

just as soon as an american car company makes a truck the same quality, you'll be first in line.

I just tell them its my money and the last time I checked I can buy whatever I want. Plus domestic companies are known to lack in the quality department... I know this from experience.

    <------See that username?

I came from a Dodge Ram Hemi and at work there's the Big Truck Club and the Little Truck Club...

I was obviously kicked out of the Big Truck Club. They now point at me and say "Babytruck, babytruck! You got a babytruck!!" :(

That hurt my feelings. And I don't say anything back.

But the other day when the guys in the Big Truck Club were talking about mechanical issues they were having with them, I walked up to the group, listened and just stood there and smiled.

    *tee hee* :D

BTW, I never had any problems with my Hemi....
