unconventional mpg increases

With the right technology it is possible to utilize hydrogen in our vehicles,homes,workplaces, basically anywhere we need power. A Japanese company came out with a water car a few years ago , check " genepax water powered car " at youtube. It is an electrical/ hydrogen design with an on board generator.

when we develop really good batteries it may be best to just do an all electrical set up ( Tesla roadster )but adding hydrogen to the mix will be added performance.

putting hydrogen in underground tanks at gas stations that need to be constantly filled up like gasoline is not going to happen, that whole delivery system /infrastructure will have to collapse. On board generators like the genepax design will most likely be the best way to do it...

gona finally run mine today..for the first time in 6 months I'll let you know if it doesn't run! Otherwise, i save money every day..beat that!! That's what the OP wanted and was outside the box. Everyother idea was BS snake oil. I get 19-20 mpg with 3 inch lift and 285 ATs with corn 87 gas. I only use the AC a handfull of days a year anyways..about ready to pull the whole thing out and get rid of the parasitic drag on the belt.



Hot air intake is on the way this winter. Pull air from the header area.

 

So I'm running a v6 automatic and and I noticed that my truck cant really tell whether or not it needs to stay in OD or not. I was currious what it would do for me if I changed out my rear diff gears with the v6 manual gears since they're dfferent. Has anyone tried this?

 

Used the AC last September if I was lucky and she popped right off yesteday (5/24)...so money in the bank not running the condenser with the knob in the defrost setting. I only let it run a minute cause its still only in the fricken 60s here...

 

You are wrong in several ways.

1.) It is not a sealed system because a, it has hose fittings for gauges, and b, it utilizes partially rubber line set which leaks naturally, which is why it is common to have to recharge your A/C every few years.

2.) The oil is mixed in the refrigerant. Refrigerant is greatly effected by the temperatures of ambient air. If you are driving without your A/C on, your refrigerant is going to migrate to the evaporator (cooling coil) inside the cabin of the truck, because it is cooler and the pressure there is going to be less than the high temperature condenser or compressor inside the engine compartment.

3.) When the refrigerant migrates and stacks in the evaporator, it's bringing all of the system oil with it.

4.) It can seize.
