I didn't even know what a remote mounted Turbo was so I checked it out at www.ststurbo.com and watched some video. Pretty neat stuff! ! ! If you decide to get one let us know how it works for you! ! !:)

    Good Luck

yea they are great kits for ease of installation and use! they run about 4500 for the sts kit which is what i'll end up buying, but i want to wait until i have the money and i'm not sure if i want to void the warranty just yet. but with as easy as the remote kits are to install, i could always just take it back off when i have to go to the dealership

I'm not interested in turbos, but I watched the vids on STS, and they're really neat.

Looks like lots of power underfoot.

My only fears, and I'm sure you thought of this as well is the voiding of the warranty, and increased wear/reliability issues contra to Toyota's reliable nature.

my exhaust?? i cut off the entire stock exhaust right under the passenger seat, welded on a 12" long glasspack perforated tube, then turned the pipe out the side and welded on a stainless tip. it comes out right before the rear wheel on the passenger side, i have pics of it in my gallery. i also removed the two rear catalytic converters and straight-piped the sections where they were. my whole exhaust was like an episode of chop-cut-rebuild but not so nice looking haha
