looking at a tacoma, question

I am looking at this tacoma....

Will it automatically have an LSD? I dont see it listed, but was hoping somewhere here might be able to tell me.

 

yes TRD sport models have the LSD, since its an 08 im pretty sure its an auto LSD

 

If you're able to see it in person, look at the rear diff. Next to the fill plug there should be a tag "LSD Fluid" or something along those lines. If it doesn't have LSD, it won't have the tag. But Jhodge is correct, that Sport model should have the LSD.

 

What does the SR5 designate?

 

Ah cool. The lack of the locking diff isn't a big deal to me. This is going to be my daily driver/pavement pounder anyway. I don't plan on doing any off roading in it. Sorry. just not my cup of tea. I just want a nice truck.

 

hmmm. might be passing on this one anyway. it has a couple small cigarette burns in the seats, and smells like smoke. As a non smoker with asthma, thats pretty much a deal breaker for me. Also has a scratch that is starting to rust.

 

I hate the stale smoke smell. I would avoid as well. Many more fish in the sea, if you will.
