This was by far the dumbest thing I ever done, if I could go back in time and know what I know this lift would of never crossed my mind

Im planning on getting the expos and foxes by July and lower my front down as much as I can. Then I'm aiming for this winter, hopefully all on blackl wil still consider selling his set up

I hate how the truck rides and I don't wanna spend 1200 on new coil overs on a brop bracket lift.

thats why you buy diff cover.....

but i have a Q for you guys.....

once i sell my truck(goes up for sell in 3 weeks:cool:) i need to decide on my next lift.

either go with a blisten ebaich combo(with 1/2" top plate lift adder) with dakar leafs and billies in rear. with LR controll arms

    or

i go with a drop bracket lift like fabtech(or similar brand) 5-6" lift..

i know that drop bracket lifts take some ground clearence away but they also let you run bigger tires so that evens the lost ground clearence out.

whats more dependable/how does it do on a trail and how does it do on the roads

oh and this will be on a 1st gen

Honestly, it depends on what you're gona use it for. I had an 04 that had a 2 inch kit on it that i loved, it was just too small. Now i got the 06 with the 6 inch kit, and i love it as well. If you are gona be rock crawling for something of that sort, i would say get a nice 2.5-3 inch kit with either 265s or 285s. I do a lot of mudding and trails so a 6 inch kit with 33" muds is a good setup for me. It is all personal preference.

ya i do a lot of mudding and some trail but not really any rock crawling....

but ive been looking around and i'd be dropping about 2500+ just to have a nice lift with new leaf pack/new co's(not the crap that comes in those kits like those crapy rear block lifts)

so i may do an ebiach and billies combo with billies and dakar leafs in rear. then with the lift encahcer( adds 1/2" to 5/8") and then probally 1" BL so ill be around 4.5 with 33's....

    how does that sound???
