Did it Friday before i left camping. Was in to much of a rush to post pics then. This is only temporary until i have a real bed rack built.

 

Finally took some pics of my truck. Just got done with mounting and running all the wires to the lights behind the grill and painting the tacoma emblems.

 

I added a fabtech AAL today.

 

looks good but you need to straighten that front bumper!

 

My truck took me up shed hunting, and she got to carry out 4 nice 6 points!!!

You just need to loosen the mounting brackets and move it around till its straight, then re tighten. Unless its been hit then Im not sure you can fix it.

 

Won't hurt to try. Just loosen the ones holding the bracket on the truck frame and see if you can move it around at all. It may have bent that paper thin bumper a bit though and you just can't tell.

 

Are you talking about the Magruder Road?? The not-paved road that runs for about 120 miles between Elk City, Id. and Darby, Mt. in between the Frank Church and the Bitterroot wilderness areas???

 

I am very interested! 11 years ago (July 2000) I stood at the entrance with my first Tacoma, a '98. I was by myself and didn't run it. I've wanted to ever since and never have.

In fact, my buddy and I have been discussing doing it next year (Aug 2012). Taking a week to run the loop, the Magruder from west to east then going up to Missoula and running the Lolo Motorway, the old jeep trail that traces the path taken by Lewis & Clark which parallels hiway 12 almost all the way to Lewiston, Id.

That loop amounts to 4 days on the trail minimum to do it justice. We figured 8 days total from Seattle. Unfortunately he can't get the time off this summer and it does need to be run in the summer.

Have you run the Magruder before?

You could definitely do it in your rig. Does take a little planning though. Probably want to do it over a 2 day period so that means being prepared to camp and all that entails.

Maybe its worthy of a TW meet. You could organize it since its in your backyard.

Pretty close man. I'm pushing 105K. On the bedliner, i don't think its Line-X, but not sure. It was put on before I got the truck.

 

Got a good bit done today on the 95. Put new plugs and wires on, which was a good thing cause one of the wires was getting bad. Then put new rotors and pads. And while I was in there, went ahead and put my new 5100 and coils on while I was in there. Tomorrow, new rear leafs and rear 5100's.

 

have stock with the Icon aal for a few years, but will probably get deavers if they dont perform to expectations.

 

Added lights behind the grill the other day.



Added the USB Plug to my xterra today.
