I'm returning from my deployment soon and I was wondering what services I should do with my truck. I changed the oil, oil filter, and air filter prior to deploying. My truck has roughly 38,000 miles. The wife started it twice a week and drove it about a mile or 2 weekly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your biggest problem is likely to be moisture in the gas and oil from sitting. Ethanol is like a sponge. I'd add a bottle of Staybil to the gas tank to soak up any water that has been absorbed by the ethanol in the gas, drive it until it is fully warmed up and change the oil and filter again to ensure the oil doesn't have any moisture in it from sitting.

    Glad you are home.

I put staybil in the tank prior to deploying. When I went home on R&R back in March I ran the truck till the light came on and then added a half tank with another bottle of staybil. Thanks! I can't wait to get back!! Almost there!
