My Step dad handed this gun down to me. It's a Ted Williams model 200 by Sears Roebuck and Co. From what I can find out about it it is from the 50's and only a limited number were made (haven't been able to find out how many yet). For those of you that don't know Ted Williams was a Pro baseball player avid hunter and fisherman.

This one is my favorite for hunting deer in limited brush situations. VERY accurate. It is a Ruger M77 22-250 w/ the bull barrel and a 12x Leupold up top.

    X2 Packerfan!

I was going to chime in on that but forgot. I live in the area and I sure call a mag, clip, whatever you want to call it a magazine. I find people in the inner city calling what is a magazines a clip all the time. Its a never ending battle!

    X3.

I hate the amount of wrong knowledge of firearms floating around out there.

Me too. Mostly because I don't want the person looking stupid the next time they say it to someone.

I'll say this...if I'm at the range and I hear a guy in a lane near me call a mag a clip (I once heard a guy call a part on a gun a "thingy")...I'm outta there. Why? B/c odds are really good that if he doesn't know the simple difference between the two, he probably doesn't know a whole lot about the weapon in his hand or how to properly use and handle it. You can say that is sensationalism on my part, and that's fine, but I call it being safe rather than sorry.

    Exactly.

Every single person I've met that calls AK mags "banana clips" hasn't exactly been an outstanding citizen.

I prefer the term 30 or 40 round magazine, not a banana clip.
