He'll do better than Kevin as he has a rear locker, but your right a lift and atleast 33's would be a good help.

I want to actually wheel these trails not spend hours winching trucks through shit that locked or lifted trucks can walk over.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I just don't want anyone going thinking these are mild trails and a stock truck can run them without damage. And I'm with you on that one that's why I chose these trails so that we didn't have a bunch of guys slowing us down.

Yeah, exactly these trails aren't for stock vehicles, I don't mean to put anybody on the spot and its nothing personal, but the guys without trucks built to handle this terrain are going to be a pain in the arse and should expect body damage.

Aw, this trail looks incredible! Don't have the money into my truck yet for this, though. A few more jobs...

Better be some serious picture/video taking for those of us left out of this Trail Rapture.

    Update.

We are limiting this trip to 10 trucks MAX we want to wheel as much a possible and don't want to be waiting for the others to catch up. so it's a first come basis the first 10 on the list are the ones going.

We have 5 confirmed and 2 Maybes the
w3tw0rks GHOSTFJ are still counting as 2 on the list until they say there not going for sure. Just because I know them both and have wheeled with them both.

i do have a 2" lift and will have demello rock sliders welded on by then. If you think that is still not enough I would not want to slow you down. I have wheeled for several years now, this is a new rig for me though. I have had a full rock crawler 4runner that did Rubicon several times before, and also other dcabs similar to mine that I have done moab and several other trails in the sierras. cant remember if these are the ones that I did before or not.

After reading the thread others are worried I will slow them down. I'm not sure if I can make it yet anyway but would like to come if I can confirm soon. Looks like you are now limiting it to 10 trucks which is smart. If you still think that I wont be able to make it just let me know.

you'll be fine with the lift and sliders, you have a locker in the back right?
And having your experience on the trip will be most welcome.

Thanks, I do have the rear locker in the TRD package. I think I have done one or two of these trails before in my other dcab. I went on the original TTORA annual gathering where they unveiled the new 2005 Tacoma in 2004. I went on several of the runs up in the seirra then. I just have to figure out what my schedule is yet but should know soon. Hoipefully before they fill up the slots.
