    I put it on let it dry, or I thought I did then power buffed, and the wax
    never seemed to dry completely, I went through all my buffing pads,
    is this common to Canuba

    is it really, I heard it was supposed to be pretty good stuff, but I wasn't impressed with how long it took to buff out, any suggestions for a better wax

    A caranuba wax should be applied and then immediately removed. It does not need to dry. Only a sealant needs to cure.

    Wash -> Clay -> Polish -> Wax/Glaze

    I assume you are using the "Meguiars NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0". I don't think you supposed to let it dry....apply and polish immediately after application.

    That said, if you are going to wax your car every 3-4 months, then wax is good. I recommend using glaze, only have to do it once a year.

    Klasse All In One and Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze
    This is a pic of my 4Runner...don't have pics of my Taco online, but it gives you an idea. Used the glaze linked above.

    PS. Really have to apply it very thin...almost not able to see, otherwise you will buff till your arms fall off!

    Aha..in that case, I bet he applied to much product too ...

    "Meguiars Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax deepens and darkens the color of your vehicle, no matter the color. Reflections appear sharper and brighter, like a mirror.

    As if the shine wasn’t enough of a selling point, Meguiars Gold Class Clear Coat Car Wax is easy to apply. It wipes on and buffs off with no special instructions or waiting period. Because it is so simple, you may find yourself waxing your vehicle more often than ever before. And the minimal effort really pays off! You’ll get a streak-free, haze-free, crystal clear finish every time."

    Another vote for Klasse. I just picked up some more Griots best in show that i will apply as a topper to the Klasse sealant glaze. I have also used the megs gold class in the past with no problems with removal. Maybe you did apply to much.

    Yep, my wife wants her car to shine like my truck. So hers will be getting the klasse and griot treatment this weekend.

    I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

    Yeah all you need is a thin layer. I apply my wax & sealant with a orbital hand sander with a foam pad. It applies it evenly and very thin. Then i remove it with microfiber towels.

    Yeah the paint sealant I use it liquid i just apply some to the pad and start on a low speed so that it don't spray everywhere and speed it up to about 2 or 3 on my sander when it's all worked in to the pad. reapplying as needed.
