Battlefield 3 vs Call of Duty mw3

All I can say is, if you want to become better at CoD MW or BF, play this game.

 

Oh god yes. Arma is an insane war simulator. Not like call of duty where you can take a shotgun blast to the chest and not somehow die...and when people play this game, they totally get devoted to it lol

 

Still not impressed by the COD franchise, B3 all the way...

 

Quite accurate statements about the ArmA series of games. Yes, Bohemia Interactive Systems (the Czech group) made Operation Flashpoint as mentioned before. The Australian group, BIA makes the military simulation that I regularly work with.

But in the end if you want entertainment then look into the entertainment versions found in Armed Assault, and the ArmA2 series. You can create your own missions and make then as authentic or arcade-ish as you please.

 

well... its split my I.W. and gayarc...so if you just focus on what I.W. puts out the COD series is amazing. Gayarc seems to just fail at game designs for the COD series. W@W sucked but still is better then Black ops, it is actually more realistic. But... i do get what your saying.

Well said. COD is very cookie cutter, short campaign and not very realistic. Don't get me wrong I love COD but for me this time it will be BF3.

 

MW3 FTW, COD went way off the map with blackops. Multiplayer is cool and zombies is ok. But its old hat now. I am psyched for MOH to do the sequel to tier 1.

 

Yeah, it's no secret BF2 was build around online gaming.

 

dont know if this is going to sway anyone's opinion on what game to get, but it looks like there might be an online monthly fee for MW2

blacks ops let me down so much that i will be buying BC3

they wanna throw a charge on mw3, thats fine.. only cements the fact I'm getting bf3

 

agreed, bf3 for me as well. probably going to get on pc at first, then maybe ps3 if all my friends on it decide to play it. mw and mw2 were fun, but black ops completely sucks. i will say i enjoyed the smaller maps for quick matches, but bf3 just has so much more content.

 

I enjoyed bc2 much more than mw2 or black ops. It's so much better when you're in a house and a tank rolls by and shoots out a wall right by you, so the house is about to collapse on you and you have to sprint out and shoot people around you. I found it so much more realistic and more enjoyable and cod.
