Sounds good dude! Im a ways off for the lift, but hoping to get 33inch KM2s soon. As for the lift, that also sounds good, haha I like how you guys make fun of bro's!and here I was thinking this forum had some bros in it. I sure it does, However the non-bros cover more ground.

Last weekend I went to my friends house and got his 10' aluminum boat out and the 9.9 Johnson 2 stroke started right up. This coming weekend, its memorial day right? Well we are going to Shaver to test the boat out. and who knows, maybe a little trail driving on Bald Mtn if its not to snowy. Has anyone been to Bald? You would think the trail would at least be clear from everyone else driving on it..But im just not that into snow, Id rather snowboard than do some snow wheelin, to much digging involved. And I tend to get nervous smashing into a snow bank at 20mph to clear the trail.

you wouldnt even have to make a noise, just look at hime with your thumbs down, smile and lift one cheek and act like you're shitting yourself.
Wait, so its not cool to do that? :spy:

me too bro me too, gotta have a slight lean, btw can you set bilsteins to .85 with a 3 inch coil? i swear ive read that isnt a good idea, maybe it was for first gen

You're going to have a tough time fitting 33's on stock suspension, i had to do some trimming with my 265/70 (almost 32") tires with bilsteins set at 1.5
    Sweet man! :headbang:

It's not recommended but there are a few trucks here running them that way. I have the 885 coils with Bilsteins set at 0 but my coils have sagged so much I have been debating on the doing the same thing along with the 10mm spacer.

The new 885x coils shouldn't sag as much as my older 885's.

very true but your ride does stiffen up once you start setting the spring perch higher, how long have you had your coils on your truck?

    Haha
Never been to Bald but heard cool things about it. Let us know how 33's on stock suspension fits too.
    :taco:
I read it was a bad idea for 1st gens but there are folks that set the 5100's to .85 here with no problems
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/94323-if-you-have-5100s-ome-885-886-post-pics.html
    That you are.
Yea pre loading the coil stiffens it up but the top plate spacer does the same thing.

I've had my coils since 2007. They are the older model that were known to sag quite a bit. Even with the top plate spacer and 885 coils my CV's are at really nice angles so going to .85 shouldn't be an issue.

Congrats again Erick! Hope you get it!

Justin posted this one up earlier but finally got a chance to look at it now. It's out of your price range but for only $2k more you would get something newer, V6, ext cab, SR5 package, lift, wheels, tires and audio system. Just something to think about I guess.
