Always risky finding these for sale, there LT so you know they took some abuse at some point. Think it over.

and you likely won't get a straight answer from the seller as to how it was used/abused...

but if you want to take a chance, follow the frame rails from front to back and look for stress cracks/bends...

even if the seller says the shocks are fresh, have them rebuilt anyway before you start wheeling it, and swap out the limit straps for new ones, and take the bolts on the arms and rear leafs out to make sure they aren't bent...

while it could be too good to be true, it could also be a legit seller who simply needs cash in this bad economy...

i am thinking it over. its kinda like either this toy and sell my banshee and crf450 for it. or wait an additional year on buying a house, as i am wanting to buy one in the next year.. its 2 hours away to go look at it. and i havent talked to the seller at all. just wanted to hear what the experts say on tacomaworld first!! thanks for all the advice!!

if you want to go long travel this is a really good truck in my opinion. i would go for it. it would cost 5x that price to do it your self. will you only be using it as a off road truck?

ask for travel numbers. who did all the work etc. spindles? are they gusetted? is ANYTHING gussetted?

also look for what the other guys said about...

follow the frame rails from front to back and look for stress cracks/bends...

even if the seller says the shocks are fresh, have them rebuilt anyway before you start wheeling it, and swap out the limit straps for new ones, and take the bolts on the arms and rear leafs out to make sure they aren't bent...

    that would be amazing, huh?

too bad the amount of money i would drop on commuting for my line of work would offset my expenses to make the house cost about $300k in the long run... hahaha
