Ordering lift, need input

So im finally ordering my lift and i need to make sure i have all nessicary parts.

What am i missing?? The lift comes with brake extention brakets so do i need extended brake lines? Do i need top plate spacers for the tacoma lean? Please tell me if im forgetting something or left somethime out.

Drop bracket lifts aren't my personal style, but I think what you've picked is pretty complete.

Perhaps someone actually running a DB will chime in.

Don't you have to hack out the crossmember for a DB lift ?

 

i believe there its neccisary to cut a little for the crossmember...

I would probably wait rather than hack out the crossmember to do a temporary lift , but that's just me.

 

I think he's doing the procomp stage 1 lift which has the crap coil spacers. If I am correct hes planning on buying the lift coils later to replace the spacers and factory coils and struts. I know alot of people who have done it but if I were you I wouldnt run spacers at all...just save the money for the stage 2 lift. Yes, for a DB you have to cut the crossmember.

Are you a 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive? If your two wheel drive just get the lift spindles and the new pack for the back.

You are correct sir! Nothing axles to drop so it just bolts on I believe.

 

Ah...I'll be honest though, if I were you, since your just going to run 33's...go with the RCD lift. You can fit a true 33 with 0 rubbin with the RCD kit...and from what I hear, it's better quality that other db lifts. Even comes with new struts that work with the factory coils.

I hear ya dude, but that high you may want to consider re gearing, even with 33's. Cooper is an excellent pick for tires btw...I have the STT's and they run great! Good luck w/ the lift!
