    It's working now.

It was weird. First time I got in, got to check out, timed itself out. Tried two times, pulled up that 404 code. Third time got back in and finalized the order.

    Sorry to scare you.

Thanks for the group buy Darren. Looking forward to it.

Got mine the other day. Shipping was fast! I ordered on Tuesday I think and got it on Thursday.

I've not installed it yet due to waiting on a new radio to install, but I can tell you this unit is solid. Construction is top notch. The plastic housing is thick! I've not seen quality like this for at least 10 years. The corners are well made. The switch moves easily and the notches are well defined but not difficult to move.

At the group buy price, this unit is well worth the money.

Thanks Darren and here's hoping you and all the guys there continued success!

We are going to go into production... But, we are not 100% certain when the unit will be available. Right now, it's all about the numbers... So far, we see about 30 users indicating strong interest. Are there any more.

That in mind, please feel free to spread the word. If we can get closer to 100 firm commitments, we'll go into production much sooner.

We're still operating at a significant loss  despite the initial success of the current Group Buy.

interested in hardwired one as well... would it be a pretty simple install or would it involve a lot of experience? The only electrical mod I've done is install the LEDs for the 4x4 switch.

If our design is as solid as I think it is, it will be a pretty painless install. I think you guys will be impressed. (Fingers crossed.)

As soon as we commit to production, I will make a post. Hopefully sooner than later...

Guys, can anyone suggest a way for us to spread the word? You know, ideas for advertising etc. We're still working on the decals (internal discussions as we have received several quotes...)

Also, working on some apparel for the site. I have a model booked for this week-end. Hopefully, she'll work out and we'll have some nice new pics on the website soon.

    Always open to suggestions. :)

No, but we might be able to work out a possible credit or something if you buy a current V1 (battery-only).

They will LOOK identical but function VERY differently. The wired version will be powered and controlled by the Tacoma's dimmer circuit as well as having local dimming (as it currently operates just in case you want to fine tune it so-to-speak).

The wired version is going to be a 'MUST be wired in' to work properly configuration. So, when it does become available, decide carefully.

The battery-only verion will work with the 'wired' mounting plate, but not vice-versa.

I don't expect many of you to purchase the battery-only version after purchasing the wired version but who knows?

Hope this answers your question.
