Going back to CO. I was gonna drill in Sector Upper Miss but that fell thru so, inactive reserve for me!

The base here is jacked man, we have a BSU, a PSSU and a HSWL all in the same building with different CO's and XO's. I'm sure I've seen him around.

Here in Seattle we are the first of the new "Base" constructs. As of now we at the ESU and those at the NESU still retain their CO but in a few years that position will become a "Department Head" We now all fall under the Base Command.

I'm not really sure whats going on here in Kodiak. They changed us from ISC to BSU and split the departments. Now they are talking about going back...along with standing down the Police Department too. Not something I have to worry about but the guys I work with now that didn't transfer this year gotta deal with it. :(

Yeah, we did the split and then to the new "Base". The new "Base" the CO is the CO of the base and all departments including the NESU's and ESU's. A lot of the names still remain but the "XO's" that were in charge of them are now department heads. Currently the ESU and NESU CO's are still CO's but in a few years after they are transferred out the new CDR's replacing them will not be CO's but Department heads.

Contracting out the MILPOL up there? Good! Never liked them. Give a bunch of Junior Enlisted some power and guns then watch out as they exert their dominance. Not all of them were bad but there was a good lot of them I wanted to drag behind a GV.

I am a junior enlisted with a gun! But yes there are a few at my unit (MILPOL) that have issues. But honestly its not just the junior enlisted, some of the others have issues too. I am thankful for my time here, and the shit that I got to do! FLETC police academy, 2.5 years police work experience. Its all helping towards my goal of being a civilian police officer, which btw I just got my letter to the academy in CO today!
