Okay so we seem to have alot of North Alabama Meets and Alot of South Alabama Meets. What about us Central Alabama Guys? :D SO here is the deal. My family has a hunting land basicly on the Talladega National Forest. Who would be down for coming down for a trail ride? Since its pretty much in the middle of no where, we couldnt really have alot of tools on hand but we could do a huge fire, go fishin, drive the trucks, and just enjoy the outdoors! throw some dates around? :D

Depending on when, I might ride down from Huntsville. How difficult is the trail.

I thought Calera was the center of AL? :D

I had signed up for the northern meet and had to miss it do to work, Talladega is Much closer to me here in Montevallo. Date dependent, i'd sure make a good effort to be there. My boss owes me one, anyway.

Set up some details, and see what people think. I probably wouldn't be up for any crazy Offroading, my Pre-Runner is more of a mall crawler but i'd be in for some scenic driving.

This is your gig man, setting it up is your job lol. In return, you'll have to drive the shortest distance. Talk to SuthrnTaco07, he has a good bit of experience setting them up. VVV

I'm just waiting for some dates to be thrown around, and i'll chime in when i see what others schedules look like.

I did a poll for the first setup and got the best response and most amount of people.. I don't know how to add a pool to an already created post but if you PM a mod they can do it! Post all the dates you are available and then let us let you know when you are available.. Then which ever one has the most people make that your day!

BTW.. Are you only available for one of the days on the new cookout meet? Most of the people on mine are voting for the end of July.. So just to give you an idea..

Also Rebel.. Where were ya bud!?

Okay so I've done alittle looking into when im available and the weekend before july 4th seems like its my best. not the only time we could work something out so what does everyone think of the 25th of june? Here is a few details on the ride.

There are alot of different ways we could go. MY FAVORITE is we could all start at our hunting club. and take a road called "new rocky moutain church road" which is not really a trail, just a dirt road. There are lots of side trails that we could take. Including the watersheds. Then we will follow that trail road out on to hwy 148 and get on "skyway mtwy" Which is where my dad rolled his jeep. haha. its a really great road, its extremley highly elevated and there are powerline breaks with great views (this takes about 2 and ahalf hrs once we are on skyway to get through that road) . and then from there we can come out on hwy 77 and take a left and go through talladega, and head back to the hunting club for a bonfire and hanging out. We have TONS of land so if you have fourwheelers or dirtbikes you wanted to bring they are more than welcome. The 25th is not a set date. like i was saying i just need to know about 3 weeks ahead so i can get off from work. LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

Need to flip one month over on your calendar. The weekend before the fourth would be the 25th and 26th. I can't make that weekend, but don't base it on me, talladega is a long drive, and I am not sure I would be able to come no matter which weekend. I'll try though.

I would definitely go if we can get the date set in stone.. My only problem is I'm off Sunday and Monday now so I would have to take off for that Saturday also.. I might be available for that weekend though!
