Tim Thomas has me rootin for the Bruins. He just keeps stopping the puck when it needs to stay out of the goal.

Tonights game should be a good one.

It came down to the fluke goal.

But I'll go out on a limb and say the Sharks lost that game in the first period when they failed to answer the Canucks first goal during that 90 second 5 on 3 the sharks had almost immediately after.

For contrast, look at what Vancouver did to San Jose in game 3 when they had a 5 on 3....

 

Terrible end to an exciting game... Sharks got ripped off with that icing call right before Vancouver scored. I'm hoping Tampa Bay knocks off the Bruins and Gagne gets another shot at a cup. Flyers shouldn't have gotten rid of him, I don't care how many defenseman they got in the trade- they didn't score any game winners in historic game 7 come-backs!

If you go back an watch a game, you'll see SJ often fires on net but there's no one around to catch the rebound or even redirect. They're either at the point, in the corners or along the boards.

Their PP, at least in the playoffs, sucked not to mention they seemed to flail at even the basics sometimes--look at the tying goal--that should not have happened.

I have to give it to Vancouver. They played hard for the whole series. San Jose could take a lesson from that. Maybe San Jose needs to not make it to the playoffs for a few years so they want to win.

I'm looking forward to a Vancouver/Bruins matchup.
