Clearance = you will see no longer. Unfortunately. That sounds freakin delicious. I've become a big tabasco fan recently and would have liked to try that.

I have an amazing one... got it from a mexican cookbook (written by the owners of border grill) - seriously, everyone that has it (including us - we used to own a mexican restuarant as well - well, mom did), says it's the best they've had. if you want it, pm me as i don't have it here with me at the moment. edit: i do have it in an email... i'll post it now...

    3 avacados
1/2 bunch cilantro leaves (~1/4 cup)
    1/2 diced red onion
    3 jalapenos, seeded, finely diced
    3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
    1.5 teaspoons salt
    0.5 teaspoons pepper

in short, just mash it up (lime juice and salt are somewhat key - check for those levels after you make it)

Here is the recipe for guacamole that i use. The ingredients are a little different, but it comes out amazing.

    4 ripe avacados
4 ounces diced green chilies-smash the chilies and avacados together.
add in 5-6 shakes of tobasco sauce
add in approx. 1 cup of cottage cheese, 1/2 cup of sour cream, and approx. 8 ounces of La Victoria green taco sauce.
Then i usually add in some cummin, chili powder, and a little natures seasons. I add the seasons to my tastes, so if you like it spicier, add more, but if you want to keep it mild, be conservative with it.
Mix all of this together and refridgerate until cold. We usually use nacho cheeese doritos to eat it with.

Well I know its mostly salt but I'm not sure how to get the Tabasco mixed with it. I'll look on Tabasco's website, I'm sure they make dried spices too.

i never put tomatoes in guac, it adds too much water.

second, real mexican guac is nothing like this, or almost any guac we eat north of the border.

that will be the trick, finding out the ingredient list, once you do that...

just add the ground, dried peppers to it... or find a rub similar to that and experiment.
