Well kessel scored as many times as ovechkin last year, so is he ECHL as well? Kulemin was statistically the best Russian in the NHL last year too. He ECHL? How about James Reimer who started a bunch of games for your country last month? Is he ECHL? It is. I probably should have up to the "probably be in the playoffs" part.

It's a huge risk and at the same time, tremendous investment in both time and money. People's expectations often don't allow for the time it takes and so as soon as it doesn't work, boom! They call for trades and firings to start again.

Ya Im very into junior hockey and watch a lot of the drafted prospects. I see most of them developing and I just cant wait to see the Leafs young guys get older. They are already ranked 6th in the league I think in prospects, so they will only continue to get better

I like watching Juniors for similar reasons and although it's not the same, it's great to ref youth games. You can see the changes in kids from year to year.
