Regret painting emblems...how do i...

So i painted my badges the "ghetto" way by not prepping correctly. (Colored them Graphite Gray). So i want to remove the paint and re-do it the right way. Can anyone suggest a good way to remove the paint without ruining the emblems?

Maybe sand them very carefully? You could just plastidip them too lol

 

try brake cleaner, alcohol or paint thinner. You can can find them for cheap at any auto parts store.

 

yeah plasti dip is the shit for emblems i did that at first but ended up chipping from rocks and what not so i peeled it all, sanded, primed and painted and now decided to completely debadge

i was gonna try brake cleaner but i was told it would warp the emblem. Any truth to that?

Or go to the dealership and buy them colored.... There is a grey metallic option I;m pretty sure. Then it will last for ever

 

just try to sand them down as even as possible and shoot a new coat on it.
