Help with springfield XD45!!!

    Trd intake, Doug Thorley offroad headers, magnaflow exhaust, RBP running boards, 2.5In spacer, URC O2 simulator, 5100's all around
    So i was cleaning my XD45 and got the bright idea to try to put the slide on without the bolt and bolt carrier in. now i can't get the slide off. so before i go and sign up on the XD forum, does anybody here know how to remove the slide.

    I did this once with my issued XD45. I almost shit a brick when I realized what I did. Did the same thing to get it back off tho.

    How do you like the XD?

    absolutely love it, i've never had any problems with it. mainly use it for hog hunting.

    Thats great that you have one as an issued weapon. If everything goes to plan i should be in border patrol in few months. I wish they issued XD's!!!

    Good luck with BP man. I was going to get on the St Lucie sheriffs or PSL PD before I got my current job. I still kinda wish I took the plunge and just moved down south....

    Lol, I've owned 5 XDs and I never knew XDs had bolts and bolt carriers. Did you mean barrel, recoil guide rod and spring?;)

    I guess??? I know M4's and to me it looked like it had the same function as a bolt and bolt carrier. So if nots called that...well i really dont give fuck :eek:
