no, I test fitted them but they were to close to rubbing :( plus the truck to tire ratio didnt look as good IMO. So I switched to 32's

My dad and I completely agree, I am thinking of a 3 inch suspension lift and a set of 33s, maybe larger. Of course it means another truck forum for tips though :(

A grinder will make anything fit. Be like that guy that posted pics of his expo rig in progress with 37s. He cut his fenders. Looks pretty good.

From the reviews I'm finding online it seems that if the winch is in decent shape, can go in and out with weight, and has a decent controller and cable then I'll come home Saturday with a winch. That will put my entire "build" at less than $1k so far. :D

    Truck $500
    Sliders $175 (including shipping)
    Winch $200
    Paint $20

    Total $895

Now I just need to pick up some DOM and build a front bumper/skid plate. The locker should be later this year depending on if I get a bonus at work.

if this a dedicated trail rig would you be comfortable running retreads like my tires?

I have heard of the LockRights - haven't looked into them yet. I'm still trying to finish what I have started with it. Still waiting to get the radiator back.

For the most part it will be a trail rig - but I'm pretty sure it will get some road time during the summer just for fun. I'll keep an eye on your tires and see what kind of luck you have with your retreads. As for lift and tires - depends on the use and money. Mainly the money. :(

Yeah - besides, I need to let the debit card cool off... this last week it has taken a few hits from the 4Runner, title/tags, and this week was "bills week". So it is a little warm from all the money leaving it. :(
