How in the hell dont you see that dumping Blakes 4 mil cap hit was awesome? One of his best trades yet. He only was able to do it because JSG had a NMC, but liked Burke and the medical help his son could get here (has a serious disorder) so he decided to waive for ONLY Toronto

Also, what the fuck does "Versteeg and Beauchemin arent on the Leafs anymore? mean? Are you even reading the conversation right? We are talking about when they were traded.......so obviously I know they are not on the team. We gave up a bag of shit to get Versteeg (Phillipe Paradis, Chris Didominico, Viktor Stalberg) then turned around and traded him for a 1st and 3rd round pick. Awesome trade

 

Very good, thats why he is a top 4 defence now in Anaheim. Thats what he is. He was asked to do too much here. Thats why he was not good. But we still got top value for him in trade thank god. Jake Gardiner looks great

Yes but they also tanked like crazy. But we are not talking about Edmonton. By your logic, they suck shit and have done nothing because they continue to finish last place. Edmontons concern is also they have no elite defence or goalie prospects. Thats a HUGE two holes to fill and takes years. I do love Taylor Hall though, what a great player he will be

ok lets talk about edmonton. I honeslty dont like Eberle and feel he only gets alot of attention because of the goals he scored in the WJC's. I love Hall and watched Paajarvi a lot in 2009 when I wanted the Leafs to draft him, and like his speed and play. Im still saying they need A LOT more defence prospects, and some goaltending. IMO the leafs are closer to contending then they are
