Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
#1)First i took them of, washed them w/ soapy water to get the grime off, and wet sanded them w/ 2k grit sandpaper...it did a good job...also, i taped off the first wheel through the whole process and it was a bitch to get off at the end. i also had to retouch where the tape was, so i did it w/o the tape the second wheel and it worked out much better. i'd recommend to not tape it off.
    **look at first pic

#2)i did 2 solid coats of a black primer good enough to cover the entire rim w/ darkness...as well as the center cap that was taken off...
    **pic 2

#3)i did 3 good coats of the black paint and didnt bother w/ the clear coat so that if my rims do get scratched, all i gotta do is shake and bake and they're back to normal.
    **pic 3

#4)reinstalled the wheels...rinse and repeat for however many rims u happen to have left!!!
    **pics 4&5

they look good so far, but i'm not gonna drive the truck until wednesday and get the lugs airwrenched down. also, i only did 2 today, the other 2 will be getting done tomorrow!!

EDIT: also, it should be titled "my", not may...so...as u were!

Yea i'm just finishing mine up and used 1 can of primer and 1 of paint.
Reason i asked i saw on another site someone used a can of both for each rim, a little overkill imo.

the truck looks badass jhodge, i'm wondering if you do the same thing i do now...whenever i get to where i was going, i pull the key out, climb out, shut the door and start walking...then i stop, turn around for a second and say "dammmmn thats sexy" and every time i get out of my truck i have trouble walking away from it lol

u dont even have to worry about paint getting on your tire morcheez, i taped off my first one then i said screw it i'll trust my buddy with what he told me, which was that the paint will roll and peel right off after a couple hours, and he was right. i just rubbed the tires with a rag and it all came right off, i was surprised it didnt adhere to the tires
