    I removed it to paint it. You have to put a drill on the adjustment knobs and loosen them all the way, then unsnap them from the last point of contact. Be careful though, you have to really tug the shit on it!

    it's really not that hard to take it off. Just gotta loosen it with the adjustment knobs and then it snaps out of the plastic holds
