Hey guys, just like almost everyone else right now I'm still waiting for the eibach coils. I've read many threads on how there is a good chance that your cv boots will get torn. But many of those are on 4X4s, so my question.... Is there any chances of having any issues up front on a prerunner with the eibachs and 5100s??? Is it anything close to what its like on the 4X4s?? Thanks guys

You don't have cv boots (or cv axles) so you will be fine.

Well u don't have cv's so no worries there but other then perhaps a alignment not in spec and a chance of some vibes u should be good.

Good question! I have been running this combination on my PreRunner for a few days now, and no problems have arisen. The only things (I can think of) that we would have to worry about is the ball-joint angles and alignment. However, I don't think these are as important as the cv axle angles on a 4x4. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can better answer your question.

You will be fine that's the only issue with the Eibachs is CV angles.

Same here, dude. I did not get the U-bolt flip kit and ordered the 10" shocks. However, I don' know if you'll need longer with the 1.5 lift shckles....

I got the whole kit from allpro wich included rear shocks (upgraded to 5150s for $40 extra), longer steel brakelines, the expo packs and bushings. I did not get the u bolts even though it was suggested... The guy I talked to at allpro said I might actually have enough thread on the stock u-bolts. There is an employee there that was able to use his stock u-bolts with his 5" lift leaf pack and had just enough thread to make it work. I am considering getting longer ones though..... not sure yet.

Thanks man yeah I have the 1.5 shackles if your going in the stock location the 10" should be fine you bay have to extend the bump stops but you will have to flex out the rear and see first.
