I'm thinking of buying HIDs in either 8k or 10k... Just to get an idea what it would look like on a Silver Tacoma.

they look any normal headlights i guess, i mean the light will be blue coming out and not be very bright at all, i would stick with 4300-5000k

if you want the best light possible, i believe SLIM said 4300. They adapt into your stock headlights so appearance wont change, just light output.

check this link for SLIMS pictures of the different lights.

That's what I was worried about. I don't want to blind incoming traffic. Thanks for the info too. What about doing my fogs? Would that be too much?

I like the 6000K on both a lot. What's a good site to get kits from? Also how would I get fogs? Do they have kits with headlights and fogs?

taco in the middle, 10,000k 55watts. 55watts flushes out the color a little though, if i had 35watt ones theyd be bluer but less bright. if that helps...

Then you'll need a projector retrofit. The reflector bowls are not designed for HID systems and the light tends to scatter.

I got the 8k on my silver tacoma and the next day had a ballast go bad. As soon as the new one comes in I will install them again and take a pic and post it for you. But it is well worth it they are awsome.
