    Interestingly enough though , Canadian building code requires that when you build a guardrail sytem for a deck or stairway , you can have no space bigger than what a 4" sphere can pass through in it .

    This is so a baby or child cannot get their head caught in the opening .

    In the US code it is a 6" sphere .

    God's honest truth , they have fatter heads .
