Dog Bomb

Took the dogs down to the river. First such trip in my new Taco. Man, did they destroy the xtra cab jump seats and floor ... What do you guys use for seat protection/mats in the back?

I'd be nice if something was about one notch back from rubberizing the whole interior ... WeatherTech back seat insert

Just tuck an old bedsheet all around the area-when the dogs aren't coming with-just remove the sheet roll it up and stow it.

 

I had a sheet back there, but it didn't do much against mud, wet and in this case throw-up.

 

X2 on a pet hammock. I got the idea from another thread on here a couple months ago and love it. I used to use and old sheet, couldn't keep it in place and the hammock is supposed to be leak proof. Not sure how well they will work/fit in an access cab though.

 

Oh hey how about one of those "mattress pads"? Like they use for incontinent folks? I'm just thinking of what will cover the whole area without you having to fork out big money or forever alter your interior (resale)

Not mine, he rides in the backseat. IMO I hate seeing dogs in the back of the truck. Way too dangerous.

Plus mine would jump out anyways.

simple, 2 foot piece of chain attached the middle of the front bed rail and they can't jump out

 

I have one of these for my hound dog... it wraps around the headsets and works perfect. It installs/removes in about 10 seconds..

 

Build a secure kennel in the bed.
