really pumped up. my ARB deluxe bumper just came in today. Got the thing home and finished unpacking it. The packing that it came in was pretty decent. there was a very minor scuff on the light loop and a small chip on the paint, not really worried about it, since this thing came all the way from Australia but overall i'm very pleasead with the product.

I also ordered a set of fog light but they won't be here until next tuesday:mad:. Can anybody tell me if i can install my bumper first and the fog lights later? Don't want to have to take the bumper off the truck again to install the fog lights. thanks for any input you guys might have.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend as i will be drinking beer barbecuing and installing this badboy. here's a few pics of the bumper unpacked. I will post more pictures of the installation process when i tear down my bumper this weekend.

nice bumper. i almost went this route but i went with cbi instead, just finished my install today. what coilover are you running? i am going to have to adjust my toytecs because my front end sagged about a inch or so..i installed a warn m8000 winch at the same time. post pics of your install because i am very curious how that set up is. my set up is about 180 lbs or so that i added to my truck. i think i am regearing in the near future.

You can install the ARB fogs afterwards. I did my fogs last. I would suggest 'extending' your existing fog light wires when the bumper's off... Mine were a few inches short; the hardest part of my install was splicing in 5" of wire behind the bumper x 4 wires.

I havent decided on the coils yet. I don't have a winch on it but eventually i'll be getting one. This bumper is about 140lbs. I will see how much it sags without the winch before deciding which coils to go with.

cool i just didn't want to take off my bumper again just to put on the fog lights. I will be using my existing foglight harness and switch, they told me that i just have to change out the connector supplied with the new arb foglight kit. what do you mean by extending the foglight wires? you mean just add a few more inches to it and soder it afterwards?

i'm half way done with my bumper. have to wait until monday, so my brother can help me with the bumper part. it is a heavy bumper to do it solo. I could probably do it by myself but don't want to damage anything in the process, which is a real possibility when trying to align the bumper. here's a few pics of the install.

I don't have a winch yet. I will be getting one soon. the winch is bolted on the inside part of the bumper. I saw your pic, it looks a little different than mine. I also have to figure out what i'm going to do for the coils.

yes, my toytecs settled down quite a bit, i adjust right after my bumper install, they settles about 1". it sat over night in my garage and it sat right around 3.25" of lift. i drove into town and when i got to my office they had dropped back down another inch. tomorrow i am going to drive on a trail with alot of bumps to settle them down and re adjust. What a pain in the ass but got to do it. :D i hope i don't have to get new coils (OME set up) i have alot of threads left to adjust them back up but 180 lbs. is alot of weight to add.

All right guys, it's time for beer break and updates. I got tired of waiting for my brother to come here on monday to help me with the bumper install. Since i'm so inpatient, So i went down to harbor freight (my favorite store) to get me a hydraulic table to move the bumper around. I told my old lady that i was just going to buy the table and return it after i was done with it. Now i like this hydraulic table so much that i think i'm going to keep it or maybe ask my wife as a father's day gift coming up;) here's some pic of this bad boy table that i used. makes life a lot easier.

now after using this table, my bumper is in the truck with no dents or scraches. really happy about that. and i will be adjusting the bumper between 15mm to 20mm as per instruction, which looks like a PITA. more pics of the final install later.

    PS. hug your kids everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey 907 taco. I told you yesterday that the winch goes behind the bumper. That is incorrect (sorry about that) the winch sits right on top in the middle of the radiator. look at my posted picture.

Heads up! It is much easier to get the fog light bezels mounted with the bumper off the truck.

Not true. Have you looked at the directions at all? The solenoid box sits on top in front of the radiator.

An 8000lb winch will fit by only removing the ARB skid pan with the dimple die holes in it.
