Nice fogs, just did mine yellow the other day. As far as your question. I would go with no.

Unless you're using a high-temp ceramic type paint used on outdoor grills, no... That might mess with the cooling ability of the radiator... I think under Mods & Tutorials theres a write up about "Satoshi Grille" modding, and it says in there what kind of paint he used to go over the radiator.

just did mine yesterday...flat BBQ paint.
You don't need a whole lot though, I just misted the rad and a bit around the edges to make the grill look nicer in behind.

I like the before shot better. You can use regular paint, it's not going to make the truck over heat, but I would use the proper radiator spray instead.

I used flat black BBQ spray paint as well, but I painted everything. Didn't want to take the chance that anything looked a different color. No noticeable change in cooling and it looks awesome. Everything behind the grill will disappear. :D

No pics, but I sprayed everything I had access too. That way I was sure not to have anything show when it was re-assembled.

Get yourself a piece of cardboard about 12" square before you start. That comes in handy to use as a shield for keeping overspray off of things you don't want to paint.
