performance chips??

ok i looked some up on google and found this site called GForcechip.com. i aint never heard of gforce but the chip was originally $400.00 ay msrp price. gforce is selling it for 70.00. wat do i do? is it trustworthy for my 08

 

the reason a chip won't work, is because our trucks have a locked ecu, meaning you can't tap into it and change the way the truck works.

 

Welcome, man! The companies who sell those "performance chips" just have good marketing teams. They're no good though...

 

Oh boy... Prepare for a lashing on here. They're scams. They don't do anything for your truck. Don't waste your money.

It looks like that is for a boosted engine setup.

 

thats what i thought. cold air intake and throtle body spacer are considered non boosted engine right?
