the cold was def the hardest part. i could not move my hands or fingers

my buddy fell flat on his face after getting shocked at the end of that obstacle, his face got way fucked up. he looks hard core

i got lots of good pics to post up later

    alrighty guys, here's some pics

at the base camp it was 37 deg, at the top of the mountain it was 10 deg plus windchill.

the cold was by far the hardest factor to deal with. nobody could feel their hands or feet. it was miserable but AWESOME. alot of people were getting hypothermia, but alot of people were flat out quitting too.

it's things like this that really make this the toughest event that a person volunteers for and pays money for.

the obstacles were fun, but not being able to use your hands cause they were frozen stiff made some of them harder than they would have been otherwise. the monkey bars were impossible due to lack of grip strength, i was bummed about that, i wanted to make it accross.

despite the weather, it was an awesome event, very well organized, alot of the money they raise goes to wounded warrior project. i'll def be doing many more of these.

yes, that is ice they are dumping into these tubs they built. this was our 3rd or 4th obstacle. you jump in, go under a barrier and then climb out. this one sucked hard haha

can't feel my hands or feet and i'm shivering like crazy... and loving it. the water was actually warmer than it was outside. it was cold, but warmer. so we enjoyed it when we fell in

ALOT, i mean ALOT of people we quitting. they set up a direct path down the mountain that people could walk down and they had about 10 trucks and jeeps taking people down that had given up. NEVER QUIT!!!

    110529-Tough_Mudder-027_ae74db7370a011a641d9d89ed5a6bf2b21b99312.jpg

our last obstacle: electro shock therapy. getting hit by 10,000 volts hurts. haha
i think i got hit about 3 or 4 times. our last team member took it in the face and went down super hard. medics immediatly took him to the first aid station... they thought he broke his nose and got a concusion because he face planted so hard.

he walked it off cause he's a champ
