Yeah its a staple on mexican menus, just wondering if anyone knew what it's called. I am going to log onto my local restaurants website and see if i can get it. Flank steak is awesome, just from near the stomach so that s why its so fatty.

it's what's usually called carne asada, although technically carne asada can be various kinds of meat, not just skirt steak. flank steak is actually different, with much less fat. skirt steak has a lot more fat (therefore flavor!)...mmmm..... i think they're from near the same area of the cow however. just looked it up to see...

those old and weather beaten grills work the best sometimes. I have looked around for grills and they dont seem to be built all that well. Mine is 7 years old and it has pretty much been garaged since but the guts are all rotted ou. I am seriously thinking about replacing those items.

Yeah the one I have isnt horrible. I actually got it at Big Lots for like $30 and it was normally like $120 but its been working good ever since! Probably just some elbow grease to clean it would make it look a little nicer.:) I also need to get a new cover for it. Dang winds destroyed the other one!!

Haha, well the only thing I can say is that if I have to replace my grill I am going SERIOUS.......... like one of those grills built into a brick wall. I have been looking for something like that. I do grill and entertain enough to build an outdoor kitchen so that I might do. I would still keep my "old" grill though. Definitely going to do some grilling to get pics up........
