HELP!!!! Punctured Condenser.

    K&N Drop-in airfilter, secondary airfilter removed, Satoshi Mod, Kenwood Stereo System, Gibson catback system , Painted Steelies, Offroad Lights, Fatbob's spacer lift
    Being the idiot i am i accidentally punched a hole in my A/C condenser. what do i do? can it be welded shut?

    if you attempt to weld it or seal it, there is a good chance you are going to cause a restriction and your cooling cycle will no longer be very effective. There is also a chance of compressor damage if this happens.

    MMMMMMMMMIGHTY TAPE! Just kidding. you could always cut it out and solder in a coupling? Idk if I'm familiar with a vehicle's condenser, I'm a plumber and used to regular condensers having copper pipes.

    i'm going to remove it and cap off the lines. my dad is saying to take it to a welding shop because its a quick and easy fix, and if the a/c doesn't work then buy the a new codenser. i'd rather replace the whole thing. good thing i rarely use the A/C. :eek:

    well the damaged condenser is out. noticed i'm missing a radiator bolt so thats something else i'll have to address.
