    Hey guys! I was wondering if someone could shed light on this for me....

    I have a shudder at 45-47 mph and it goes away after that... But I have tryed everything from a shim and a CB Drop together and seperate.. And Now I have the Beefed Taco CB Drop. (1.5" drop) and its still there...

    Today I figured well it could be my gay old tires I got, so I rotated them and checked psi, then went for a drive. It was gone for a few min. then came back....
    So what could it be???
    My next geuss would have to be either Tranny mount or maybe CB is going bad... But I dont have much of any slack in it... :(
    Help!

    Oh! and it only happens when im cruising at that speed, not if Im excellerating through to say 60mph....

    The tires are old Wild Country Radial TXR's.... they dont make them any more and I got them with about 5k miles on them... Ive put only about 3k on them...

    But wouldnt rotating the tires change the shudder, or move it. If its just one tire?

    Thats exatly what they feel like! lol... They are a temperary tire though....

    I geuss I should just wait until I get new tires, then go from there.. I sure hope it is the tires though...
    Dont want to have to take it to the dealer....

    I may... But kinda just want to wait till I get my Duratracs...

    Does anyone else have any ideas on what it might be?

    Ive read that it could be the Tranny.... I have been getting hard shifts lately... Like I will give it some gas and then it doesnt know whether to down shift or not, But then it will real hard for a split sec. then go back into the gear it was just in.....
    Hope that makes sense....
    Maybe the Torque Converter?????

    I also have a shudder but its when taking off or accelerating from under 5MPH.. it goes away before i hit 10mph... so im guessing this has something to do with my lift.. i have the Toytec ULK, i have shims n the rear also... yours defiantely sounds like it would be tire related.. not sure about mine though lol

    Does it feel like when you leave a manual tranny in too high of a gear for your revs ? ie Lugging

    Sometimes its gets to so bad, the rear will almost start to hop.

    I will .

    I'm not convinced that it isn't a wheel or tire issue , it has been there as long as I can remember .

    It happened before my lift , but I can't remember if it was happening before I put on my Hankook MT's 2 years ago , but I've had the tires rebalanced twice .

    Huh.. Yeah I know what you mean. I cant remembe if this happened when my truck was stock.

    Oh! And I just read on another Forum, someone with the same issue in a 08, and he said that it is most likely the TC if it goes away when you have it in 4th, and not D. So I may try that Today.
    Bc then it will rule out the tires.

    I think you mean if it goes away in 4wd , not 4th

    No, 4th... So that it doesnt go into OverDrive....
    I think it only happens when its in 5th or Over Drive cruising at 45-47..
