As title says. Someone that had both at some point, how does the back seat room compare in DC Tacoma to DC Tundra? (not CrewMax Tundra)

Tundra is bigger, but barely. The Tundra's backseats are definitely more comfortable though...

Mid size to full size is no comparison. My 2002 F150 has a huge back seat compared to the current Tacoma...and the trucks have only gotten larger in the past 10 years.

def. more room. I haven't spent too much time sitting in the back, but two adults can sit comfortable in the back of a tundra. It is a little tight in a tacoma if you have longer legs, although still not bad for a smaller truck. more compartments in the back of a tacoma than the tundra though. I miss that.

I just got rid of an 08 tundra dc and now have a dc taco. I don't know about the dimensions and I'm sure the tundra is wider but my wife and kids have commented that the taco feels roomier than the tundra

my brother in law has a double cab tundra and when we look back there we don't see much more room than the dc taco. just wider.

I went to check out the Crewmax Tundras before I got my DC Taco. You can get up and walk around in the back seats.

The Regular double cab is not much bigger than the DC Taco backseats. You'd be a whole lot better just going to the dealership and checking it out.

I think I was more curious than anything as I'm still very happy with the Tacoma.

A little of this and a little of that.
The Tundra DC is bigger, roomier. Before I bought my DC Tacoma, I looked at the DC and crewmax Tundras. The DC Tundra clearly has more back seat space than a DC Tacoma. It seemed wider and taller than the DC Tacoma. The crewmax Tundra back seat is absolutely spacious. I wanted the Tacoma all along, but it was fun checking out the uglier Toyota trucks. :D

The rear seat room was one of my major considerations when choosing a truck and I was really leaning toward a crew max but I couldn't justify the crappy gas milage, less room in the garage, more money, etc. Who cares. I'm really only going to have my kids back there. Adults occasionally but only for short trips

my buddy has an 06 tundra DC, the back seat is wider and much more leg room. the seats are also a little more reclined.

i think when you put all that together its much bigger and more comfortable. the actual demensions differences are not that huge but when you sit in there it seems a lot bigger
