I suggest you do a little research... Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver have lengthy waiting lists for season tickets, and all teams have to allocate a percentage of tickets for single game sales.

 

Yeah and Shenkarow totally f-ed over the jets fans even when they tried to get the new arena built..... I am glad they are going back and I know they will get the support they deserve.

 

PHX has had issues for a while now. I could see them moving. SLC might be better than SEA.

Salt Lake would be a horrible choice. They already have an ECHL team that they can barely support. I have been to some of the Grizzlies games in SLC and you are lucky to have 5,000 people at a game.

 

Really? But the same is true of the SEA market--plus they have a ton of pro sports to begin with--I've always thought the Bay Area has way too many pro sports to support all of them.

 

I had PTI on, they just talked about the Thrashers/Jets....They quoted Bettman saying "You people better sell out every game or this isn't going to work out very well"

I've heard the Grizzlies actualy do very well. Anyway I read they would be a good candidate due to the Jazz being the only competition for a pro market and the Jazz do pretty well as far as ticket sales ect.

 

I heard on the radio they might call them the Manitoba Polar Bears, but that sounds so bad! Idk if it. Was a joke, or serious though.

Not only American radio, Southern California radio lol. But I googled it, and it seems to be the front runner in terms of name.

 

if the team was in churchill manitoba then it would be ok to call them the polar bears.

 

Huge market up there but the bears are dwindling and those that remain don't drink as much anymore

That's pretty impressive for the ECHL. I doubt Hamilton or Toronto average that many for an AHL game.

 

That's horrid. Reminds me of the Orlando Solar Bears form the IHL.
