While I was in Mexico this past week using my GoPro for snorkeling and on the ziplines & jet skis, I noticed that after taking the camera out into the water that condensation was forming on the lens inside the case. My guess is that it's because it's so damn humid down there and getting in the water cools off whatever air is trapped inside the box with the camera. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for keeping this from happening? All of the video I took in the water isn't crystal clear because of this and I'm a little disappointed.

Which model of GoPro do you have? If it's the HD one, condensation is a common problem. Because the camera gets hot.

HD Cameras ship with an open back to avoid the problem. I don't know what you'd do for the situation you describe. Have you e-mailed GoPro? They're pretty responsive.

I haven't had problems with mine while snowboarding. I just set it up for it to start recording as soon as it turns on so I can turn it off when I'm not recording.
