LED INTERIOR QUESTION!

Yo guys whats up! I got everything I need for my LED install but Im having a difficult time trying to place them somewhere in the cab...I scratched the cup holder idea because I have an 08 reg cab manual, cup holders are attached to entire center console so I dont just want to drill through the whole console I was thinking about under the dash by the feet so it lights up the floor section? Or coming from under the actual bench itself shining into the floor foot section facing the feet basically opposite direction of the first idea. I have 4 radioshack 12v AMBER LEDS...Let me know what you think thanks guys.

Oh also Im pretty sure Im going to be running it from the climate control but just so I have this right the SOLID GREEN thin wire is power to my red wire from LEDS and WHITE AND GREEN thin wire would go to the black wire from my LEDS right?

Very nice man but 70 bucks is high end for an LED strip but very good quality and light output it looks like. How long do they last hour wise? And also Adhesive is going to wreck the interior no?

 

TW members get it for $60.00. We've been getting over 6 months on average for a single set of CR2032 batteries. We're also in the middle of finalizing a 'wired' version as requested by TW members. With any luck, it will be available in the next few months.

The 3M adhesive is high-quality and will not wreck the interior. The mounting surface is comprised of hundreds of 'raised' bumps as you are likely aware... The adhesive is very durable, yet removable with minimal effort. FYI - the unit mounts as an assembly in less than 30 seconds... The light is magnetically mounted to the mounting plate for access to batteries (and remote lighting as in under the seat if you dropped your keys or a quarter or whatever).

$70.00 is a bit on the high side - we agree, but the cost to produce this little gem, was staggering.

Very true man it is def a sweet little accessory no doubt and because I have my wiring set up for my led strips already im def interested in the wired version it would be an easy swap for me. As for the magnetic mounting that is genius I love that idea. I will be in ona group buy/reg buy whenever that wired version is available!

yes. but you will not be able to turn it on/off by yourself, that will be dependent on when whichever fuse you use turns on.

 

Yea no I know I wanted it hooked up to my lights (which i did through the parellel tail fuse slot with the add a fuse) i could have ran a switch but i figured i wouldnt need the option of having them on during the day it would be pointless to me so whenever i turn my lights on now they come on...sweet deal
